Hi Tracy I would be most grateful as this is proving really elusive. I am trying to find the marriage of my Grandmother and Grandfather. She was Ada Mary Martin late Pharoah nee Everett b 1882 d 1957. She was born in Portsea Island (Southsea) I have her first marriage to Walter James Pharoah in 1904, in Southsea, Portsmouth. I believe she had 3 children by him. Then the next thing I find is the birth cert of her eldest daughter Sheila Martin.b 1913. The father is James Henry Martin with Ada as mother. He is down as attendant at mental hospital. I was always told by my mother that he was from Cork in Ireland. He died about 1930, but again I don't have any precise dates except my mum saying she was 11 and my aunt that they had new coats! And that his mother used to come from Ireland to see them. I have searched and searched but can find no trace of a marriage, so it would be really great if you could find something. Many thanks Jacqueline

Hi Tracey Missing Websters 1891 Arthur b 1858, Bassingbourn,Cambs and wife Emily I'm fairly confident is, Emily Mary Humphrey born Bassingbourn, Cambs not sure of her age,but probably between 1860-1865 They married in 1889. I've got other elusive Websters if theres no luck with this lot! Thanks Louise

Hi Tracey John George White was born in Ceylon 1805 and Amelia was born in London 1808, there last place of residence was Tranmere Cheshire in 1871 age says 65 for both but 1861 says 55 for John George White and 53 for Amelia. Cannot find them on the 1881 maybe they moved out of Cheshire before they died. Thanks Colette

Hi Tracey. Thankyou for your offer. I have one that is driving me around the bend. I have William Martin born c1858 in Abingdon, Berkshire on the 1901 census. He is married to Annie and they are living in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Wales...... On the 1891 census he is married to Annie and states his place of birth as Surrey, England. The family are living at Pwllgwaun rd. Pontypridd. He married Annie Gadfield in December 1884 at the registry office in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales. His father is named as Henry Martin (deceased quarryman). I have tried to find William with his father and family before he was married but cannot seem to match them up. Hoping that you will know some clever tricks that i don't. Regards. Alyson

Alyson, I've been through every William Martin (with soundex) in 1861 born Surrey or Berkshire and this is the only one with father Henry 1861 Henry Marten abt 1828 Chelsea, Middlesex, England Head Lambeth Surrey Caroline Marten abt 1828 Strand, Middlesex, England Wife Lambeth Surrey Charlotte Marten abt 1845 Old Kent Road, Surrey, England Daughter Lambeth Surrey Hy T Marten abt 1847 Lambeth, Surrey, England Son Lambeth Surrey Caroline Marten abt 1852 Old Kent Road, Surrey, England Daughter Lambeth Surrey Emily Marten abt 1857 Lambeth, Surrey, England Daughter Lambeth Surrey William Marten abt 1860 Lambeth, Surrey, England Son Lambeth Surrey Henry is dead by 1881. William is not with them in 1871 or 1881.

Can you help me find my great grandmother who was listed as Annie (nee Robinson) on my grandads birth cert. (5/3/1910-John Dickinson in Oldham)but don't know when she married my great grandad Alfred Dickinson. Hi Tracy, I am trying to find out what happened to James Rammell b1849 Kentish Town, son of Gibon Rammell 1814-1866 & Fanny 1814-1880. I have him on all census recs until 1871. I cannot find him anywhere from the 1881 census & onwards. I have a reference to him in his mother's will proved 1880 which has him living in Crediton Devon. His sisters are living in Crediton in 1881 (Emily, Mary Ann) but no James. I have found no deaths on freebmd. Any help at all would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance, Gillian

Ness, I checked 1902-1920 but I couldn't find an Ann(ie) Robinson marrying and Alfred Dickinson. Sorry.

Tom, the only one I found was in 1892, aged 31. He may have died 1861-1865 which I don't have.
