thelma. they only seem to be turning up in 1851 census have tried william Josiah elenor pardoe only one that seems to match is william josiah in 1881 married to a Hannah what do you think?? Yesterday I was looking for miles and found under stiles so a lot of mistranscribing takes place. when I have more time will do more searching. Sally.

Sally, May i please have a look up from1861 census for a THOMAS TIM(M)S,bapt.1800 Husbotrne Crawley,Bedfordshire. Living Birmingham 1851 census,a watchmaker,married, with 7children. Thank You, Thelma.

Gillian found these 1851 james harby 38 rope maker emily wife 27 edith daugh 1 ellen niece 9 marion niece 5 plus servants Manor House thomas harby 45 elizabeth wife 32 edward son 3 elizabethdaugh 2 john f son 9 months michaels place thomas married a Elizabeth Rammell also found a Archibald harby 1816 this might be handy to write down (not confirmed) Thomas Harby 1790 sarah wife 1781 elizabeth taylor 1823 daugh thomas talylor 1820 s i l waltham cott chesnut middx found a Thomas webster rammell 1816 living on own st georges hanover square middx also found a marriage of a Thomas webster rammell to a Maria Nott or frances soars dec 1874 westminster vol 1a page 788 Hope some of this is helpful. Hi Sally, Could you please lookup in 1851: James Harby age 58 born Poplar Rope maker Emily Harby wife age 46 born Margate Kent James son age 8 born Poplar Edith age 1 born Bromley In 1861 they were living in Wanstead Thomas Harby age 47 captain born Bermondsey Elizabeth Harby age 31 born Margate Thomas son age 10 born Poplar Ellen dau age 9 born Poplar Marion dau age 5 born Blackwell Elizabeth dau age 2 b Lichfield In 1861 they were in West Ham but in 1851 may have been in Lichfield. Thomas Webster Rammell age 37 single Civil Engineer Edward Wootton Rammell age 33 single Thanks very much in advance, Gillian

Anne. what relation is John walmsley to John and MArgaret ashton. there are 100's of John walmsley in Lancs. can not find him when I put Burscough in. My great grandparents were John and Margaret Ashton. lived Darwen.

Jean in answer to your message on my 8th thread 1861 Elizabeth Blythe 1801 living on her own in richmond Yorks. there is also a John Blythe 1828 born bishops wilton yorks living with wife Mary and children. If this helps and you want more info please get in touch. __________
