Hi Sally, I saw your name falling off the bottom of the page this morning and you have been so much help previously. Please could you look up the 1891 census for John Henry Bradshaw born abt 1867 in York to Robert and Teresa Bradshaw. He gets married in 1896 and then seems to disappear so a fix on him in the 91 could be most beneficial. Many thanks, Frances

Hi Sally, Hopefully in 1901 you may find John Henry with Emily Anne [Wells] who, in 1891 was still living with her parents at 24 Cemetery Road, Walmgate, York. She is a Milliner (probably works at Bradshaw's shop?) The couple got wed on 12.8.1896 but I have not been able to find them since. The wedding is from FreeBMD and IGI. Many thanks, Frances

Elaine I have searched for 2 days for Hannah the only one I could find was in 1901 joseph hannah charles rosetta emma benjamin but you have him with Mary ann in 1901 so this can not be the right one. Have you any childrens names I could look for? Do not want to give up on this one. Sally.

ROBERT INGRAM b-1849 Connor, Co. Antrim, parents Robert & Matilda (nee Parker). Also his sister MATILDA b-1852 & brother JAMES b-1864. In 1901 census I have living at 9 Coronation St Leeds: William Allen b. 1846/7 London Ellen Allen wife b. 1846/7 Horncastle Albert Tom Allen son b. 1876 Leeds Rose Ellen Allen dau b. 1878 Louth, Lincs. Arthur Allen son b. 1888 Leeds (An elder son William Allen b. 1874 Leeds is presumed living elsewhere - perhaps he is married?) At the time of Albert Allen's birth they were living at 43 Stanhope St West Leeds. Could you find them on the 1881 census and 1891 also? William Allen 1847 seems to have changed occupation a bit variously a carver and gilder, furrier and in 1901 Ellen is down as Furnace Repairer. Thanks again Sarah Australia

Sally I would be very grateful if you could do a 1901 check for a George Chisnall b 1864 Islington and his wife Ann Chisnall b 1854 Ipswich. I would really like to find out the address and if any children they may have had. I am also looking for a May or Mary Lavinia Gimson who would have been 18 in 1901 and born in London, and a Grace Gimson (aged 10, born Tottenham, Middlesex. Hi Sally, Thanks for having a look for my Allen family in 1881 and 1891. Now I'm wondering if they were in the country at the time. It appears that Ellen Allen's brother William Frazer and his family spent a few years in the US. I wonder if the Allens could have been over there or otherwise out of the country at census time. One I would have thought, but 2? Who knows? Thanks anyway, Sarah
