Find Ancestors

Hi I wondered if anyone is doing a look up whether they could try to look up some details for me. Im stuck in trying to find my grandad's parents. My grandad George Kenneth Hancox was born January 1905 died in February 1977. I do not have a birth certificate for him. It appears on the documents that his father did not have a middle name but was also called george hancox. I do know that George (my grandad) was one of 8; Nora Hancox (married - Southall), William Hancox (died Sept 1987) & Herbert Hancox (twins), Ben Hancox, Ernest Hancox (youngest), Elsie Hancox (Married to Frank Mears she died 2004), Floss Hancox (married Archibald Arblaster). As a child my grandad lived in his teens in Cemetry Road, Cannock. any information would be great. Andrea

Hello Again Louise Is it possible to have one more look up please? Unfortunately I am not sure of dates, but would appreciate if you could look from 1956 to 1957 for a death for my Gt Grandmother Mary Skilleter, she would have died in the London/Middlesex area. Hi Louise Thank you for your kind offer. Could you please look up the death records for Frederick William Smith d.o.d. 07/07/1996 South Woodford. I cannot be 100% sure of the date, as he died at home i don't know if there would have been post mortam or not. I do know that he died of cancer. Thank you Michelle.

Hi Louise, I hope you don't mind me asking, you looked up a death for me earlier & said if I needed anymore help, well the info is my grandad died 11/11/1937 Arthur Charles Simmonds which you looked up & said their was only 1 which said aged 49 so he would have been born abt. 1888 ish, you also said you searched all birth's for 1887 to 1889 inclusive but couldn't find one with a charles as a middle name, but you could find other's just Arthur Simmonds, would one of these have a father called Edward as Arthur has Edward on his marrige cert. as his father, it also say's on marrige cert. Arthur was 23 at time of marrige 10/03/1913 so should have been born around 1889, have found one family that has Arthur born 1892 to a father Edward & mother Catherine but if only 1 death cert. can that be him? or is their any other Arthur's with a father Edward. Hi Louise, Please could you look for the Death record of John Davis bn c 1801 in Rushall, Wiltshire? He died between 1871 and 1881 most likely in Rushall, reg dist is Pewsey, Wiltshire. - sorry is that too many years for you to look up? I cant be more precise, as I have him on 1871 census and wife is a widow on 1881 census. Thankyou very much, Sue Update.. sorry, yes that is too many years.
