Would it be possible to find a marriage date and name of partner please, I should imagine it would be about 1938 to 1942 in North Baddesley or Southampton area.. I know they had about five children, May, Christine are two of the names Thank you again Margaret. .

I couldn't find Edward Locke b1865/6 Westbourne W.Sussex on the available census entries on freebmd/ancestry so if you are able to find him I would be over the moon. I know that the registrar at time of my father's birth missed off the 'E' in Lock so have tried trawling both. Onward .. .. .. Jeanette

Hi Jacqueline on page 9, I found one death for an Arthur C SIMMONDS as follows in 1937: Dec 1937 - Arthur C. SIMMONDS - aged 49 - Stepney 1c 187 so that would make his birth year 1888 ish. I searched all births for an Arthur Charles SIMMONDS between 1887 and 1889 inclusiive and couldn't find one! Athur everything else, but not Arthur Charles lol!
