Thanks again Jane, Could you please find out in the 1891 census, where my gt grandparents Richard & Harriet Mills lived and who lived there. My Grandfather also Richard was born in 1889 in Northgate, Cleckheaton. They all later moved to Clara Street, Leeds. Would love to find in between bits Kind Regards Richard

Hi Jane Tis me again. Perhaps you can help me with another line..... Looking for a William Atkins on 1851 census Northamptonshire. He was born c 1829 . Joined the police force in 1853 age 24 which states he came from Brampton Ash (Northants) On his marriage certificate he names his father as Benjamin. Many thanks Julie

The only part that has me confused is on Alfreds marriage certificate it states his father as William Gage, publican...maybe he changed occupations..lol I guess my next step would be to find the birth certificate for Alfred or do you have any other suggestions?
