KAT IN THE DOG HOUSE Hi Kat I managed to find 6 children for John and Jean, all in Drymen. As for finding Jean and John's parents, etc I came up with a number of possibles just in Drymen, never mind the rest of Stirling. Hope the info helps. Hi Dawn wondered if you could do a few look ups for me My gggf John Wands born about 1863 Alva clackmannanshire married Janet Cowie Miller on 7/6/1889. He died in 1937 in Dollar, Stirlingshire I need a specific date of birth for him and details of any siblings and date of birth. I know he had at least one, a sister and that his nephew was called George H. L. Weary/wear.. (something along those lines) Additionally i think his parents were Andrew Wands c1830 (year is guess) from Stirling Area I think and Mary Nichol or Nicol was his mother, I am at a complete stone wall with the parents, can't find dob or marriage or even dod for mother. Hi Dawn, Could you see if you could find the following 2 births for me - they might be twins. David and Janet Borland born circa 1826 to James Borland and Janet Campbell of Colcoathill Farm, Tarbolton, Ayrshire. I can find all the other siblings dates but not these 2.Tried all the usual places. I know they are brother and sister as they are mentioned in James' will. Thanks for any help you can give.
