hi can you help i having trouble tracing relatives of my grandmother addeline forsyth gemmell born 5th sept 1923 in the port glasgow area her mother was rose forsyth from belfast

Well I've finally got myself sorted to come and let you all know that I had my baby. Alexander Cameron was born on 12th July at 00:52, weighing in at 7lbs 13ozs. The past few months have been hard work but loads of fun. So I'm back around to do requests. I've set up a new thread, so if you need a look up please post it on there. Dear Dawn thanks heaps for the offer. Hope you and the baby are well. When you have time would you please lookup the marriage of Ann (Annie) Badenoch b.1861 Gamrie, Banff to John Duffus. I know nothing about him except that they did live in Pitsligo (New Ithink) from at least 1926 - if not all their married lives. I'm hoping they married in Gamrie Banff area or Aberdeen (Pitsligo area). Witness info etc would be great. Keep well thankyou for your help...........Margie

ELIZABETH ARIEL Hi Libby The only info that I could find was 2 possibles for Alexander. The info is from a disc that I bought a while back on eBay. It's an old one made in the 1990's. As for online info, have you tried the Scotland's People site. You have to pay but the info is wonderful. You can always come back to me for further look ups if you get some info from there. Hi Dawn, I am after the marriage of my gg grandparents Robert Wallace Ure & Elizabeth Brown. I dont have the date but it should be in the early 1840's. My g grandmother Jane/Janet Wallace Ure was apparently born abt 1843 Glasgow. It is one of my brick walls. I do have one more request, but unfortunately I haven't really any information to give. My other set of g grandparents James Campbell & Mary ( could be Mary Jane) Shaw. They would have married in the late 1820's - early 1830's. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you Dawn, I have Robert and Janet's children. But, I have found my husband's branch from another area. I don't know my Scottish geography very well. I've been trying to access maps online. The family is ARMSTRONG. I have Adam Armstrong born abt 1823 married Christina Irvine 1865 in Jedburgh. Adam's father was Alexander Armstrong born abt 1784 married Margaret Brown prior to 1823 in Mossburnford. All the places are in Roxburghshire. Also, would you mind telling me how you find the info. I'm in Australia and find it hard to get out. Is there an online service? I don't mind paying a subscription fee. Thanks Libby.
