Hi Lorraine and thanks for the offer, i checked some names out on Irish Origins and the names seem to be in the Rotunda Ward..Dublin.. Peter Lamb Catherine Lamb Childrens names Richard Lamb Patricia Lamb James Lamb Helping a lady and this family came to Liverpool c1907 they had 7 children before coming to Liverpool then 4 more after they were from Dublin.. James Courtney 39 Head B Meath Bricklayers labourer Margaret 43 Wife b Monaghan at George's Place. on the 1851 census which only shows the Head of Family.... hi lorraine.not sure if you can help.....looking for micheal MCcann.born in dublin.about 1868 i think.he married bridgett malloy.born about 1872 she came from county mayo .allbut 1 of there children were born in ireland .they came over to england when the potatoe famin was on...are they on any of your census.. thank you.jean.

Hi Lorraine its Colette again, does the census have a surname index, as i dont have much to go on, i try to help people who use one of the Liverpool Genealogy boards, all this person knows is a James & Martha Rooney from Dublin had her Grandad in 1911 in Dublin then came to Liverpool. So she was wondering if there is a surname index and are there any James Rooneys listed... Thanks Colette

There are lots of Rooney's in the 1901 census but only one James,if you need any others,please let me know. Hope it helps Lorraine
