Rachel do you have the marriage cert for them as then I could find them as we would know their fathers names and be able to track thm like that and if you have their sons cert it would also state her maiden name Zoe

Zoe, Thank you so much for offering to do look-ups for people. I am looking for the parents of a CHARLES SHORT who was born around 1875 in SPILSBY, Lincolnshire on behalf of my partner Phil (Short). We know he married a Lizzie Hawk(e)sworth in 1900 in Boston and that their son Charles Henry Short was born in 1905 (if this helps) Have come up blank on the 1881 Census and now banging our heads against a brick wall! Lorraine I can't find anyone of that name is this her maiden name when was she born? Do you have their marriage cert as this would tell you her age, full name and fathers name and where she was living at time of marriage..Need more information really Thanks Zoe x

Lynne She would have only been 45 when she has Abigail so it is possible it is her daughter! EXCELLENT Zoe thanks. Ellen was certainly female, she was my g-grandmother! Chalton is actually Chilton. So his first wife was born in Edmonton - that helps HUGELY. I hope the word in front of labourer is 'Sand'. Ellen was born in April 1850 so that fits OK. The 'Yorks' have been a nightmare for me. Hi Zoe Thanks for the offer of look-ups. Please could you look up the following family for me in 1851 and 1861. STROUD -Living in DEVON William c. 1829, Head, Plympton St Mary, Devon Mary A c. 1833, wife, Roborough, Devon They married in '50 so there may not be any children in '51 census. By 1861 I have the follwoign children so far - Rosina William Koffinea? Harriett Georgiana I am looking for a Zorada born about 1860. Any info would be very helpful and gratefully received. Zoe please if you hae the time cauld you find Abigale Cuthbert born 1860 . on the1861 ......... She is with Naomi and Leonard Cuthbert in Irthlingborough Northamptonshire in 71 .... [found by genes members thanks !!] as daughter ...i think she should be Grandaughter i think there may be a William born 1858 ...not sure if he died before the census ..thanks for any help Lynn

Hi Zoe Could you look for Samuel York in the 1851. He was born 1819/1820 in Chilton or Sudbury, Suffolk. Wife's name is probably Mary/Mary Ann I have him in the 1861. There's a possible on Ancestry, but I don't have a current subscription. Thanks Alan
