Hi Lorraine, Thanks for the offer,could you look up in 1841 lincolnshire John bell b c1785 newton and ann his wife born c1792 bishop norton.I am hoping to either find just them two as I would imagine they were married by this time or John with his parents. Thanks once again Betty. |

Hi Thanks for the offer. In the 1841census could you look for Mashach Sargent in Suffolk, I think he'd be about 19. It's a very odd first name so if you don't find him would it be possible to see if there's any Sargents in Whepstead or Hawstead both in Suffolk. Fingers crossed! Many thanks Chris |

Hi Chris, Found...... John Sargent 45 ag lab Ann 40 Sarah 15 Meshack 15 David 13 John 12 Hannah 10 Mary 8 Robert 6 Alice 4 Henry 2 Jonathan 2 months All born Suffolk at Page's Hill,Whepstead,Suffolk. No Sargent's in Hawstead and that was the only family in Whepstead Hope it helps Lorraine |

Hi Lorraine, could you check the 1841 census for me for George Clayton born c1839 in Bollington Cheshire, possibly has sisters (or cousins) Ruth c1834 Ellen c1841 plus Martha clayton c1815 born in Rainow Joseph Clayton c1791 born in Rainow Elizabeth Clayton c1787 born in Chapel En Le Frith Plus any more Claytons living in bollington at the time cos I think they are all related. Am trying to find out who Georges parents are but not on 1851 census and he is listed as living with his grandparents Joseph and Elizabeth. Thanks |
