Hi Cheryl, could you please do an 1871 lookup for me? I am looking for John Price, he has 7 children emma, harriet herbert,albert laura, rosina and lilly. In 1881 he is living at 2 hotwells rd clifton Bristol. I expect him to be somewhere in Clifton in 1871 but not sure exactly where. John was born 1830 in Clifton, what I want to know specifically is his wife's christian name. She died soon after the youngest daughter Lilly was born. Thanks a lot andy C

Hi Cheryl. Many thanks for the Brooks details. On the 1891 census (married to Frank by then) it states that she was born in Talke - mind you the people back them seemed to change their birth place from census to census. Cheryl Jane Rodgers is on the 1881 census on her own as a widow 28 Oystershell Lane Census Place Westgate, Northumberland, England On the 1891 census she is at the same address with a grandson John Rodgers aged 28 Hope this helps Isobel
