Hi Margaret..I can't find this family in 1881 England/Wales census. I know they were in Scotland in 1874 & 1877. Henry Belton born 1840, East Grinstead, Military Prison Warder in 1877 at Greenlaw. Hello Margaret. Could you look up an Archibald FREW born 1857 in Lanarkshire. His Wife is Catherine born 1859. Possibly Fife. On the 1901 they were living in Northumberland but place of birth was just put down as Scotland. If I could find the area they lived in it may help me find Archibalds, parents. Dear Margaret In trying to locate Michael Mailey also sp Micheal in the family bible born in Perth Scotland in 1862, was a painter by trade in the 1901 census when he was living in London. He was married in London Marylebone in 1893. I cant find him prior to the marriage. Thank you for the kind offer Liz
