Hi,. thanks for the kind offer I am looking for the death of an Isabella Dodds, born c1861( give or take 2 years!!) I have her on the 1871,81 and 91 census but she is nowehere to be found on the 1901 so I am thinking she has maybe died bewteen 1891 and 1901 but I cant find any record of it,. Isabella was born in Durham and her place of birth has been noted as Duantera Hill in 71 census ( possibly mistranscribed as prob should be Quarrignton Hill) , Coxhoe in 1881 census and Quarrington Hill in 1891 census ( these are all right next to each other) She was living with her parents, siblings and children in 1881 and 1891 in the parish of Old park in Durham, head of household was Bartholomew Dodds.. have searched in vain for her death between 1891 and 1901 l have been unable to find it or her whereabouts on 1901 cnesus if she was alive in 1901 Please help before I lose the plot completely!!! lol Thanks Nic x P.S have just looked at free index on Ancestry and her father Bartholomew is listed as died 1904 and parish classed as Auckland. This would tie in with their location at the time,. There is an entry for Isabella Dodds in 1895 in parish of Auckland, would you be able to check this for me as I have not subscribed to Ancestry as yet.!!

Hi again lesley I know i've already pestered you today re isabella Dodds but I have been given some extra info and was wondering if you could search for her on the 1901 census for me, it has come to light that isabella may have married a David James in 1894 in Auckland parish. I have found a death for her as isabella james in 1910 aged 47 and born c 1863 ( this ties in with my Isabella birthdate).. only trouble is I can't seem to locate her on 1901 census. Would you be able to check the 1901 census for Isabella James. husband david and any other members of household, occupations would be great as well if they are listed. I think isabella stayed in Durham as hubby was from Auckland parish as well, I know it's a lot to ask as you have already helped me witha previous enquiry so please feel free to tell me to bog off !!!
