Hi there Lesley Many thanks for your kind offer of help. I am trying to trace Robert Butterworth in 1901. He would be 32 and he was born in Elsecar in Yorkshire. Sorry Lesley, no ages given. This is all we have. We have only just found this certificate and can only assume that my Dad was adopted as he grew up with a different family under another name.

Hi Lesley I've been trying to find more info on my grandparents, these details are from my Dad's birth certificate: Thomas White born 18/2/1917 City of Bath Father: Leonard White Mother: Margaret Ellen White (formerly Isherwood). I can't find a marriage record for them. Is it possible to have a look for a death record for either of them. (or anything else you might come up with!) Thanks, Kathy.

LEONARD WARBURTON WHITEHEAD Hi Lesley, Want to find death for the above. Have trawled BMD to no avail. Think some quarters are missing. My problem is that I do not know approximate year of death. He was born 1897 and is on 1901 census living at Crofton, Wakefield. but I seem to recollect a burial somewhere in the early 1930/40's in Chapeltown, Yorkshire area. Where can I look next?
