Find Ancestors

Hi Lesley I've hit a brick wall I'm trying find my greatgrandfathers Henry Hayes place of birth and birth certificate. The 1901/1891 census he is living at Sleetburn Durham and down as born in Coxhoe. But the 1881 census states he was born in Wigan Lancaster. He was born around 1850/51. I can't find him on the 1871/61/51 census. He married a Jane Stewart/Stuart in 1874 at the parish church Coxhoe Durham and on the marriage certificate his fathers name is James Owen who was a farmer. Henry was a miner. I'm also keen to find out when he died. He would have still been living in Sleetburn/New Brancepeth upto his death. I'm trying to find out who his mother was and if she was married to James Owen or to someone called Hayes. or perhaps not married at all. Any help is gratefully received. Thanks Maureen

Hi Lesley hope this helps, Clara Exley 34 ( b York 1867?)was living in the Horsforth area of Leeds, but I have heard William may of died early and not be on 1901. Does it help much? Kind regards Richard
