I have found them I think on 1881 his birth yr is 1842 on that. They are in Somerset I will look again now for marriage in somerset and get back to you in a mo Lesley :~)

PAXTON 6 F England Rel: Daur Occ: Scholar William PAXTON 4 M England Rel: Son The family stayed mainly in Berwick but must have gone over the border at some point after 1866 (when my grt grt granmother was born - in Scotland). I'm not sure where in England they might be, maybe near the border but i did find a possible birth ref for Chritina in Gateshead? My English geography is no good but maybe you know where that is.
