Lesley, if you have the time, I am looking for Arthur Gibson, born 1889-1890 and died in the 1940's. His name was very common in Yorkshire and I am waiting for his birth cert as there are 2 possibilities. I can't find his death record, have been through the records many times. I was told, although he lived in Stroud, he died after an op in London. My aunt thinks it was Roehampton, which is Wandsworth district. She said my mother was 17 or 18 at the time which would make his death year 1942/1943. I would be so grateful if you could manage to find what I can't...Teresa

Hi Thank you so much for all the information on the Phipps family. Can I come back to two other Phipps-you said I hadn't given you Charles W. Pearce birth year, it was 1867 and he was born in Northampton. He was still living in Northampton with his mother Sarah in 1891 in Sunnyside Cliftonville Northampton but then I lost him.(Cliftonville is an area in Northampton, its not the seaside town!) Does this date help. Can you find any other trace of him -1901? Death? Also, did you find anything on John Phipps b1860/1 , silk merchant in Hampstead in 1901-just rest of household would be great You did say you were bored!! hi lesley could you do an 1871 search for a frederick sollis in worc/glos he should be abt 30 and was born in cow honeybourne and could you do a marriage search for a william sollis to a woman called mary abt 1860 in glos might be winchcombe/cropthorne or hinton also could you do a 1901 search for a gerald sollis he should be abt 38 and was i beleive born in netherton also a 1871 search for a john sollis in worc/glos he should be abt 34 and was born in cow honeybourne and last couple a 1901 search for edwin sollis in worcs he should be abt 43 and finally the marriage of a jane sollis abt 1898 maybe be in cow honeybourne could you email the results for me please thanks alot for your hard work regards jamie
