hi im trying to find the final side of my tree from hemel hempstead and bovingdon area herts. this is all ive got on them william final born c1917 died 1964 married winifred picton born 1917 they had 3 children. william george final c1884 d1955 married a kate darvell c1879 (miden name walduck) in 1904/6 they had 5 children george final c1852 married a ann(annie?) c1861? they had 3 children william george, leonard, may would like to know who george was married to and who his parents were. thank you sarah

Hi Genevieve Please can you try to find birth for a daughter for William and Gladys Ball. They were married in 1922 so she will be born after that before end 1925. They lived in Tooting, Wandsworth, Valnay Road and then Himley Road. A son was born in 1925, Leonard, and a daughter, Daphne in 1928. Thanks Sandra

Hi Genevieve, could you do a look up for me please. I'm trying to find births of 2 x Ann Coates - totally separate relatives - as follows. 1) Ann Coates b.circa 1847/ Manchester. I have her on the 1851 census aged 4, as daughter of John & Ann Coates. Living at 2 Austin's st, Manchester. However, her brother Henry (my gt gt grandfather) is also on this census as aged 4 too. ? possibly twins, but, whilst I have found his birth, I can't trace Ann's birth? I haven't been able to trace any thing more on Ann. 2) Ann Coates b.circa 1868/9 / Manchester. She is listed on the 1871 census aged 2 with her parents Henry & Theresa Coates living at 1 Milan St.Manchester: On the 1881 census aged 13 living with mum Theresa & sister Louisa Coates (my gt grandmother) at 6 St.Michaels Place, M/cr. I know that this Ann Coates married a James Meehan in sept qtr of 1889 & I know of 3 x children she had. However, I have not been able to trace her birth at all. Hello Genni, Thank you so very much for the image as I have now been able to establish my g grandfather in a census even though it is transcribed incorrectly, his name being James Robert Stokes, his place of birth is correct and his age is 5 months(not 5 yrs) No wonder I coudln't find him under the surnames of Stokes or Easterby. If possible can you look up in the census how many others James born in 1806 or 1807. Since James is listed as 54 at the time of the census that should make it born in 1807. Family Search.org list 3 possibilities. He is not listed as far as I can tell in the 1871 census, thus assume he passed away. Anything would help me narrow down the search if I know approx dates to search.

Hello Genni, can you look on 1871 census to see if you can find Sarah Humphreys b 1815 in Aldgate London and her daughters Jane Humphreys b 1851 Sarah Humphreys b 1854 Emma Humphreys b 1855 All three daughters were born in Tipton Wednesbury Staffordshire Their father was David Humphreys b abt 1819 They are on 1861 census living in Bethnal Green, The name Humphreys is sometimes spelt Humphrey or Humphries.
