Find Ancestors

Im after the marriage of a Granville Connelly or possible known as Patrick G Connelly between 1940 and 1955 in the Dumfries / Carlisle are of Scotland. He was born in 1922, so i presume the earliest he could have married was 1940 and we know he had 3 children by this marriage, then was married to a second person in 1960. So i would say the likelyhood is, his first marriage took place 1940-1955 (giving him time to have 3 children after the marriage but before 1960. Can anyone help. Scotlandspeople website doesnt go that far date wise and im no where near Scotland to research in the records office. Thanks, Deborah

Yogi Bear was the nickname of a Celtic football player named John Hughes. My friends gave me the same nickname for obvious reasons. Cheers JJH

how do you know Granville had three kids from hid first marriage, do you have details of the wife and kids?
I'm trying to find the family too for James Connelly who remembers Granville at 10 Annan Road, Gretna, Scotland.

great info, yes it appears Granville is as you pointed out, Patrick Granville Nicholas, but preferred to use Granville. I've been contacted by a relative since my post who confirms a lot of what you have discovered and I'm passing this to my better half to update her tree.
