Thanks for the offer, could you try to find William Green on the 41,51 census.He was born in Berkeswell and was a shoemaker. he would have been about 26 on the 41. I have him in Coventry for later censues. Thanks . Sue

Thanks for that Orangeblossom - it could be one of those. I came across him in an 1851 look up when he was living with his married sister Sarah Bowman in Norton le Clay along with his mum. His birth was given as c1801 and birthplace Northallerton so I was just trying to find out a bit more about him. (Sarah is my gt gt gt gran). I asked for an 1841 look up but again it was difficult to know which, if any of the 2 which were found were the right one. Sorry to have taken a while to reply went out yesterday and had to go to work today! Thanks again Kate
