Hi again Penelope I think I have a difficult one for you... Could you please look up either of two Sarah Brains in the 1861 census? They are both in the same house in the 1851 census in Orton Waterville, and are daughter and granddaughter of the head of the house, so they may be aunt and niece or mother and daughter. One Sarah was born c.1823 in Orton Waterville, Hunts. The other is called Sarah Ann, born c.1847 in Standerwick, Hunts. There is often a problem transcribing the name Brains, and it has come out as Brams, Brainerd, and Braner. Thanks, Anna
