Thank you Pen, I can't be sure if that is the correct individual though. Regarding his place of birth, in the 1851, 1861 & 1871 he is living in Chelsea and gives 'Hunfied' as his place of birth. Hi Pen I'm not even sure you can help me but would be grateful for anything please My Great Grandmother was born in Arbroath in Scotland in 1861/2 her given names where Helen Stewart - surname Watt I have found her living in Manchester on the 1901 Census, living at 17 Claremont Street, Chorlton upon Medlock. this is South Manchester, it shows her as being born in 1868!! I know it has to be her as she has my Gran Lilian living with her (born 16 Oct. 1891) on Lilians birth certificate (which I have) it has William Watt a newspaper compositor as her father. Can you find her on any other census that you have please? I dont know if its any help but I do have details on bottom of page.
