Hello Pen, You are clever and wonderful, it will take me a while to digest all that information.I did not know the 1881 census was free online. I have only been doing this for a month. Still trying to teach myself how to use this computer. My grandfather always went by the name Wallace and my mother has wondered all her life if that was her correct name. I will now be able to fill her in. In occupatins does a Ag lab mean a Agricultural labourer. After I get all this info in order I would like to ask you for anther look up if I may?.
