Hello Anne, do you have this family please on the 1881 Scottish census? LANARKSHIRE- WILLIAM JOHN IRVINE MCMILLAN DOB 1849-50 (age 42) His mother may be ELIZABETH his father JAMES. His marriage extract is terrible to read & has taken me hours to figure at least some of them out! Possibility father a farmer but parents may be deceased by 81 Thank you

Hi Anne, Any chance of you looking for this family for me. I have a John Fraser married to Jane King married 1861 in Aberdeen ages 31 and 32 (Jane is the elder) which should make them 51 and 52 in 1881. John was a private in the 61st regiment foot at marriage but have him recorded later as a labourer. They had a son John Crombie Fraser born 1870 so he should be about 11 and was born in Aberdeen. Hi Anne, here I am back for another two lookups, hope you don't mind. These Dye and ferguson families in Dundee have me pulling my hair out. Can you check the 1881 census for :- I have a Robert Dye (Chimney sweep) who married Elizabeth (known as Betsy) nee Inglis on 24/12/1863 in Liff Benvie and Invergowrie Angus area. Can't get back any further with this couple. I didn't find this on Scotlands People but on LDS website, so ages not known. I would be interested in finding all the children from both sides please.
