Hi Pen Thanks so much for the recent info on Mary Ann Davis. It has solved two problems for me, firstly there whereabouts at the time of the 1851 Census and secondly why my Grandfather and his father both Walters had the second name of Gough. It was obviously Mary's maiden name. Gough has been passed down to several male members of the Davis Family ever since. Although I grew up with the surname of Davies someone at some time must have added the e. Shame about Charles in 1841 but thanks for looking anyway. Your a gem Regards Pamela
