Jane, That's great - many thanks, your help is invaluable. I really feel that I might be able to break down this brick wall soon! From your clues I've been able to locate a couple of death certs on 1837online and ordered them from the GRO - fingers crossed! I don't want to take up too much of your time, but it would be a great help if I could determine whether Elizabeth's father, Job CONSTERDINE (or CONSTANTINE) was still alive in 1841. I'm sure he would be in or near Tyldesley, Leigh. Unfortunately I don't really know how old he would be - somewhere between 55 and 70 I guess. Malcolm

Hi Jane, I am trying to piece together the life of Annie Millar who was born in Shrewsbury c.1867. In 1881 there is a 13 year old as a visitor in Wolverhampton and I have her getting married in Leeds in 1891. Her entry in 1901, as Annie Nelson, gives her age as 34 from Short, Shrewsbury. I think it must be the Isabella Hawkins born Barham, Kent, 1850/51 as the others don't seem to fit as i think she moved to Scotland and married there. Thank-you for any info Hannah x x x
