LOOBY LOU WOW What a search (LOL) I'm afraid I can't find anything on the census records for either of these two. I did However find the following Marriage William John Bothwell Married Catharine Parr on 20th November 1914 in Vancouver Deaths Catherine Parr Bothwell Died 26th July 1975 age 95 Burnaby British Columbia Ref 1975-09-011765 BcaRef B13344 Gsu Ref 2050444 William john Bothwell Died 1st Mary 1964 age 87 Vancouver Ref 1964-09-006400 B13266 2033689 I am Wondering if maybe she emmigrated after the 1911 census as nothing at all on her. The Katie I found was not her as this one was down as being born Austria Hope this Helps Mary

DALLAS HAIGH Hi I have looked but there are no marriages listed on ancestry in california for them. I did find them on a couple of census records and it appears Samuel was born around 1848/9 and Mary Jane 1860 his immigration year appears to 1875 and their children George B and Dorothea. Sorry could not find anything else Mary

MARGARET SIMPSON Hi Margaret I could not find anything for Immigration either. Have you tried the Ellis Island Site maybe they are on their. I also saw the 1930 census and on the image it states that william arrived 1923 and Minnie and son william in 1924 the other children all born Michigan Mary

Re HENDERSON 1901 gives Henry's place of birth as Evenwood. I have no further info re Thomas I'm afraid - thought I had but it seems likely I have followed a false trail. It is even possible that he died afyter Henry's birth but before the 1901 census as he is recorded as deceased on the marriage certificate. Don't spend a lot of time on it, I shall have to go back to the drawingboard. Many thanks for your efforts. Cliff

Look up please for Laura Kempt born c.1851 Canada Nova scotia? Father Alexander Kempt mother unknown. Married Thomas Cain 12 June 1871 Halifax, Nova scotia registered in army register. Son William Clowery Cain born 1872 Halifax, Nova scotia.(Don't know exact date) Returned to uk, in 1881 census, family at Aldershot Hants, army camp. Any info on her birth,parents details etc or family on census would be great. Thanks

Hi Mary, Thanks for those refs.I have nothing on Eliza Jackson, and little on Lily Liptrott, I know she had siblings, James, Frances, Violet, Polly and Emma. I have been in touch with a Liptrott in Australia who is a distant relative but i have yet to trace the parents on census' with any certainty. Regards Han x
