Hi Jane I'm looking for info on PHILIP HENRY AVES b1870 West Ham, Essex. and his father PETER. I have him living in Bermondsey, Surrey in1881 at 138 Lynton Rd with parents PETER b 1843 Boreham Essex and ANN (nee Kettle) b 1868 Shorditch. I also have PETER marriage to Emma Warner Dec 18 1892. Hi Jane, No sorry all I have is they were married Nov 1841 Surrey. As I have said. She was Mary Ann Gundry and John was the son of William Reynolds. Don't worry if you cant find them, I'll just try and find another way around it. May send for marriage cert. Thanks anyway Brian

Hello Jane, I am having trouble finding information about Henry Carr who was born in 1854 in Rotherhithe. He is listed in the 1881 census as a Wine Cellarman and living in Camberwell but my discs of the 1861 census are almost impossible to decipher. If you could locate him in either the 1871 or the 1861 I would be most grateful to receive any details of him or his parents. Many thanks for your kind offer to help. June in Brisbane.

Hi Jane, Thank you once again for your kind offer of lookups. I am trying to find info on the following 2 people who married 6th November 1841in Virginia Water,surrey, England. They are John Reynolds Father William Reynolds Mary Ann Gundry. This is from certificate info. Can you find them in the 1841 Census or find any info atall on them, Parents names, siblins,address,work etc. I would be most greatful for anything you can find. I am informed that they emigrated around 1855 to Australia on the George Marshall. Also trying to find info on this ship. T.I.A. Brian

Thank you for looking Jane. If you found Alfred Bartlett on the 1871 in either Wiltshire, Bristol or Somerset can you let me know? I don't think Elizabeth is actually his wife. I believe her to be Elizabeth Greatwood who was married to Charles Bartlett in 1862 Wincanton. Elizabeth was born in Castle Cary in Somerset not in Bristol although Rosina is born in Bristol. The family is on the 1871 census with Charles in Clifton. I don't think the children are Alfred's either. Rosina is definiately Charles' daughter as it gives him as the father on her birth cert and marriage cert. I want to check and see if Amelia is Rosina's full sister.
