Hello Jane Struth.....didn't think you would find them. That is definately them as William Baker had a sister called Lillian. Some of the names that you have listed I can't quite make out. But his mother was a widow by the 1901 census...is the name Elizabeth ? And he had a brother called Harry. Could you please try and find the following for me in 1851: David Owen, age approx 35, Shropshire, possibly Dawley Magna Elizabeth Owen, also 35, wife Fanny Owen, 12, daughter Benjamin Owen, 10, son and any other children. I'm not sure if David Owen was still alive in 1851, he was certainly gone by 1861, when his wife had remarried a Benjamin Jones. Once again, many thanks, your help is very much appreciated. Chrissie

The name was mistranscibed as Pelling in the '61 and Emma was not a daughter of thr family. Lapses of memory are one of the side effects of old age? Hi Jane, I am looking for the LAW family 1841. I had some info on them from the Genealogist website but no occupations. Tried to find them on Ancestory but no luck. Here is the info I do have. Surname LAW Edward 75, Joseph 40, Sarah 40, Joseph 15, Susanna 13, Mary Ann 8 emma 5 Maria 3. The area was Tower Hamlets, Ossulstone, Folio ref. HO107/0715/5/F45 If that's any help.
