There's no need for Geraldine to buy the 1913 marriage certificate as the image is on Ancestry. Will be happy to send it once she starts her own thread.
EDIT: On second thoughts, the info may be of interest to the original poster too (if he returns) so will add it anyhow. Here it is

Just wandering off at a bit of a tangent here:
Adelaide Isabella Handyside in the England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966
Name: Adelaide Isabella Handyside Probate Date: 10 Jun 1886 Death Date: 12 May 1886 Death Place: Middlesex, England Registry: Principal Registry
Administration of the personal estate of Adelaide Isabella Handyside (wife of William Loudon Busch Handyside) late of Rutland House, Kenway Road, Cromwell Road in the county of Middlesex who died 12th May 1886 at Sea, was granted at the Principal Registry to the said William Loudon Busch Handyside of 58 Warwick Road, Kensington in the said county, bank clerk.
The divorce petition (posted above by Chris) was in 1885. Wonder if the divorce wasn't finalised by the time of her death, as she was apparently still his wife?]
EDIT: Having looked at the image of the decree paperwork, the petition was dated 12 May 1885 (just wondering - is that relevant to the date of her death ??). The decree nisi was 9th Dec 1885, but there's no date for final decree.
