Hi Pen Sorry l was seeing to the dogs. William was born Whitehaven Cumberland 1824 l have him on the 1861 as born 1826 The Crosby born Ulverstone is his father l found that on the i.g.i. William was a sailor l wonder if he went to sea at a very young age? Pam xx

Penelope, I have looked through BMD but no luck. My info comes from her son and her death cert. from 5th Feb 1953, shows her age as 53 and her fathers name. She never married. Her son thinks she may have had two sisters auntie Mags (Margaret?) and auntie Nell or Nellie but no memory of uncles, also he thinks she would have been the eldest so don't think you'll find them on census David....

Pen, I have found these two before and discounted them for the following reasons........ Rosetta L Bellett's father's name Reuben. The other Rosetta I think father's name Charles but doesn't show her middle initial. Another GR member has them both in her tree and her other details don't seem to match Can you trace an ALFRED BELLETT b.1859 Bethnal Green, son of Joseph H Bellett and Sarah F Walker and see where he was in 1901? Also theres an ALFRED BELLETT b.1876 in Bromley?
