Hello Pen Thanks for your kind offer. I am trying to find William Lodge in the 1851 Census, I do not know a lot abt him, he married Mary Cragg at Preston in 1862, at that time he was a soldier at Fulwood Barracks. born abt 1840 His father was Martin Lodge a Brush Maker but had died at time of his marriage. So do not know were the Lodges came from, could not find him on the 1871, 81, 91, census as he and wife had parted. Hope you can help me out here, many thanks for your time. Polly
