Hi Lorraine, My gt grandfather William Chippington joined the Londonderry Militia on 28/10/1862 until 27/12/1872 then the Donegal Militia from 11/1/1873 - 15/10/1885, any further information will be appreciated. Hello Lorraine Would appreciate a look up of the 1851 Dublin census please, though if there are too many results to list I understand as I dont have alot of info. John or James REID Esq b.c1800 Dublin (in 1822 he is living at 26 Upper Gloucester St). Basically my ancestor is a James Jordan REID born 1822 in Dublin (sailed to Australia c1845), and his father who I think was a John/James Reid, was a personal guard to Queen Victoria but that is all I have to go on. With thanks Dan

Hiya, Just wondering if you came across any Edgeworths in Dublin in 1890? I have them in 1901. Also, would there be any O'Donnells in the garrisons? Cheers, Mark

many thanks for your kind offer I'm looking for my GG Grandmother Clementina Myra TEES b 1839 Dublin. Her father is recorded as Alexander TEES a Gentleman on her marriage cert to Julian Shirlock Bult HICKS in London 1858. - The 1861 census shows Clementina living with her husband a son Julian Alexander Robert HICKS , her mother Sarah TEES b 1806 Dublin & an older sister Mary TEES b 1837 Dublin. I can not find the TEES family in England in 1851 and thus presume they are in Dublin..............thank you in advance for any help
