Hi Kerri, thanks for your kind offer. Could you please look up some birth records of Fanny Jeffery (B. 1831) and one of her siblings, Samuel (B. 1826) in Plymouth? Thanks, Steven from Australia. |

Kerri, Sorry to have asked - I should have checked the start date for baptisms. Thanks for looking for the marriage - I guess it will be Cornwood. Many thanks Carl |

Hi Kerri, It's me again. I wondered if Richard Gill was born in Plymouth. You kindly found his burial in July 1832 (same day as his daughter Harriet was baptised) and the entry gave his age as 37. Could you have a look for his baptism around 1795 please? There is no guarantee he was from Plymouth but it is a possibility. Thank you. The only other one for this family would be the marriage of Richard Gill and Harriet Head some time prior to the baptism of their daughter Harriet on 26 July 1832 - I think they may have got married in Harriet Head's parish which was Cornwood. However, if you are able to do a short search in Plymouth for the period prior 26 July 1832 (it wouldn't be any earlier than 1824 and would probably be nearer 1832 I think) it would be very much appreciated. Kind Regards Carl |

Hi Kerri, Hopefully you can help me again, this time with my Stoke Damerel ancestors. I'm looking for a birth for John Tinney and Flora Beaton, both from Stoke Damerel around 1815ish. Also a marriage between Daniel Beaton and Sarah Day, it would have been prior to 1815, also Stoke Damerel. I hope I'm not asking to much of you, and if I am please tell me to stop!! Thanks Marlene. |

Hi Kerri Thank you for the info on the Hortops. There's quite a clan of them throughout Devon and Cornwall!. Wish they didn't repeat first names so much,as it does get confusing at times. I did know that a lot of them were millers, and will sort them all out eventually. Thank you so much. Brenda x x |

Thanks Kerry - there was a 20 year age gap between Daniel and Charlotte/Charity which makes me wonder if it was a second marriage. They both came from South Hill in Cornwall so maybe I should investigate where Jennifer came from. Thanks for looking for me. regards Joanna |

Hi Kerri Thanks for the offer. I am looking for two marriages both in the name of Daniel Sleeman, the first to Jennifer Henwood and the second to Charity Symons, circa 1812 and 1832 in Stoke Damerel. I am wondering if Daniel married twice, is there anyway of telling? Thanks Joanna |

Hi Kerri, Thank you very much for your reply re Harriet Gill and her father Richard - can't thank you enough. You've no idea how many years their birth and death respectively have been a mystery to me. Yes it's very sad both events on the same day. Just one query :- can you explain the (notes C) comment. Sorry if I'm being a bit dense! Many thanks Carl |
