Hi Shiela, Sorry in my haste to post my request for a lookup for George Donaldson 1861 Scottish census I forgot to include his place of birth and profession. Info as follows, George Donaldson aged 38 years Born Glasgow, Lanarkshire about 1823 Occupation: Stocking weaver I am hoping he was living in the same district as some family members. Hi Sheila Can you look up a marriage please? The info I have is Edward Mcguiness b1837 in Retford, Nottingham. His wife was called Ellen b1838 in Ireland. I have no dates but their 1st child was born 1861. I would particularly like to know where they were married and Ellen's maiden name if poss. Thanks Janice
