On 1881 they were residing at Liff & Benvie, Forfar, Scotland but I believe some family members may have moved south to Glasgow. The surname is FIELDS but sometimes it is listed as FIELD. Hi Sheila, would you please be able to look up my g.father on the 1901 census. All I have is William R Fairclough b circ1895 and he lived in Lambeth London. Hello again Shiela, I am still trying to locate my FIELDS. Unfortunately you were unable to locate them on 1891 and 1901 scottish census. Can I please ask for another couple of lookups. I have decided to go backwards with he father. 1871 census Dundee City FIELDS John, aged 35years 1851 census Dundee City FIELDS John, aged 16 years.
