Hiya Im on the search for my grandparents side of the family. I know my mum and dads side up to the grandparents. (well I know about my mums parents than my dads so Im a bit stuck on that.) My grandma (on my mums side) is Ada Saunders and as far as I know, she lived her whole life in Radcliffe and died in 1992. My grandad- well my mind is a bit fuzzy about him because he died in 1987, when I was 4 but I do know his name was John Gates and he worked in Radcliffe at the old plant mill (before he died) That mill has been knocked down since recent years and has now turned into a housing estate on Stand Lane in Radcliffe. If anyone can help or wants to view my family tree (if this information sounds familiar) just contact me. Thanks Helen xxxxx |
