Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 3 Send Message	Has anyone got the name Chalmers in their ancesstors. My Grandfather was Devonshire Chalmers or variations of this. Believed originated from Cornwall, born in the second half of the 1800s died in Portsmouth around 1930. Worked most of life on the Barges in Portsmouth. My Mother was Clara Chalmers born Portsmouth 1901, married Henry Davis of Ringwood Hampshire in 1931 died in Christchurch 1989. Any info would be appreciated.
