Hello, My great grandfather was Samuel Rayton of Yorkshire, probably born around 1870-75. He married Dora Douthwaite b 1877, and they had several children, Joseph, Mary, Margaret, John, George Edward, and my grandfather Thomas Reginald. I can not find any details about the Leeds/Yorkshire branch of the Raytons. Can anyone help?I want to get further back but have come up against a brick wall!! My family seem not to have been availible when the Census was done in either 1881 or 1901! |
