ELDER Hi, I'm really looking for any information on this family based in Northern Ireland. My mother is Irene Gadd nee Elder and I know she has 3 brothers and sisters. Her mother is, as yet to me, unknown in name or origin but was married to William Elder in Belfast (very approximately) 1930ish. There is a rumour that my great grandfather on William Elder's side, worked in the ship yard on the Titanic. If anyone can help me with any of this sketchy description, it would be most appreciated - due to strained family relations, it is difficult to ask immediate sources. Thanks |
