I was born Margaret Edith Wood in a Felixstowe Nursing home on 27th July 1949. I was adopted at about 2 weeks old. I am trying to trace my birth mother, I know her name but don't want to infringe her rights. I have had counselling and have signed up with the adoption agency. My birth mother lived in Ipswich and my fathers surname is Woods. I have had a wonderful life and really wanted to contact my mother just to let her know that I am fine. My adopted mother has been wonderful and lives with me aged 94! My birth was registered rather late as my adopted mother chose my name Margaret Edith and obviously my birth mother registered the birth. Alot of family lived in and around Ipswich, My adopted mother moved me into the middle of my birth family (Wood). |
