Hi Jean, Are you still looking for Catherine Skivington born Barrow 1905? If so please reply to this message as I have a lot of info, including DNA match to Catherine's nephew confirming family link. My Catherine, and her sister Margaret Catherine (1907), were sent to a convent in Newcastle when their mother died in 1916. Father James, mother also named Margaret Catherine. |

Hi, I have been trying for many years to find my father's sister, Catherine Skivington, born 0ct, 1905 in Barrow in Furness and later may have lived in Blyth, Northumberland. I have searched most scources and have recorded nearly all the Skivingtons held at the family record centre. Any help would be appreciated. Happy hunting, Jean |
