I have written an history of my Fairlie family who came from Ayr in Scotland. There was a William Fairlie in Dromore in County Down in Ireland who went to Scotland from whence his father had come, My great grandfather left Ayr to come to settle in Cookham In Berkshire where my father and many of the family lived until very recently. If there is any connection, let me know as I can let you have a copy of my tree. Alan Fairlie ([email protected]. |
