William Lindsay Trying to find out what happened to James Thomson, born 1798 in Carnock Fife Scotland to James Thomson & Agnes Steedman. He disappeared from the Carnock registers after 1817. Did he marry? Did he emigrate to North America?

Hi William

I was following up on James Thomson/Agnes Thomson when I came across your note.
I do not have any info on the James you are seeking. The only child I have for this couple is Margaret Thomson 16 Dec 1799 (some have Nov) in Carnock. She married Robert Drysdale in 1816 in Carnock and then they came to Canada in 1820..

I can check and see if your James may have also came to Canada (I assume you are still in Scotland).

Question: Were there other children other than James and Margaret? Do you know who the parents were for James Thomson 1770. Only have info on family for agnes steedman.

Welcome to the boards Ellis.

William posted almost 10 years ago and because there are now no posts against his name this indicates that he is no longer a member.

You could try to contact him by clicking on his name and sending a private message but he would only be informed that he has a message waiting if he still has the same email address that he registered with Genes which may not be the case.
