I would like to find some more information about my ancestors. My grandfather was called James Salmond, born around 1900. He originally came from Northern Ireland/Eire. He studied medicine in Belfast before moving to England where he lived in Appleby-Magna, Leicestershire and worked as a GP. He had three children, James (who later adopted one of his other names, Stewart, and who is my father), David and Ros, who was his only child by his second wife. He died in about 1965. I would be very interested to find out more about the Salmonds before him. |
