My father was born in Newtownards Northern Ireland in 1914, his name was Cecil but he was always known as Jim. After his mother died he was adopted and his name was then Hewitt. He reverted back to the name McKinstry when he came to England in the 1940s. He died in Birmingham in 1976 at the age of (just) 62. Any help gratefully received. Sheila (nee McKinstry)
