Sarah Holt, my great grandmother was born around the 1850's in York, she married Josiah Turner Walton, who was born in Eccles in 1851. They ran a dairy at 92, Broughton Road, Pendleton Salford and had several children, one of them, my grandmother - Mary Emma Walton, was born on 18/12/1879 in Pendleton. She married Edmund Charles Mather, who was born in Hidnley, Wigan on 12/1/1875, they had eight children, my mother was Margaret Marther, who was born 2/10.1909. I would love to hear from anybody who can tell me anything about the family. |
