I'm drawing a blank on finding out what happened to my great great grandad:

m to Mary Jane Richardson
He is in the 1891 census as Head of the household but not in the 1901. His wife is living with her children and brother who is Head of the household.
I do know that the child Rhoda Mary b 1898 isn't Richard's child (father unknown).
I'd be very grateful if someone could help?
