Elizabeth Jane Ormston’s BIRTH was registered in JFM 1899, so her birth date would actually have been one year earlier than the 1939 register states

The date of birth doesn't match the 1939 Register - but depends on how accurate the informant's knowledge/belief was.

Her husband's death cert will say if she was alive in 1965 or not.

She's in 30 trees on Ancestry.
Several of them give a supposed year of death for her - some say 1976 and some say 1974.
Some say Newcastle, one says Herefordshire.
None of them give any proof, nor an exact date.

Family don't know where Elizabeth died

Elizabeth's husband Thomas Alexander Wharton died in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1965. I am beginning to wonder if she remarried?

I am trying to find the death of Elizabeth Jane Wharton nee Ormston who family say died in the 1970's. Elizabeth was born 28/12/1899 in Newcastle upon Tyne and married Thomas Alexander Wharton in 1918 Newcastle upon Tyne. The most recent record I have found is the 1939 register for Newcastle upon Tyne with Elizabeth J, husband Thomas A and children John, Janet and Margaret.
Would you be able to help me find this death as I am just not seeing it?
